I check the application itself to insure that all information has been filled in completely and
correctly. If your application passes the preliminary review and is
successful, I will notify you of this fact and your site should appear on the
status page with your reference
code. There, you can follow the process by hand of a status page, where you will be inserted in from the moment your application is
received. Here you will find your reference code, your country
flag, the three evaluation times (1, 2 and 3 that actually is only
pending and completed). I will visit your site in Internet Explorer at 800x600 and 1024x768 screen
resolutions, to see if your site is accessible to all. It's also at this time that I will begin checking the criteria against the site. If the site does not meet the
criteria, the evaluation is over at this time and you have not met my
criteria.
The last visit to your site is to check to see if the graphic is displayed properly and for link
verification. Description and keywords tags are checked, I don't
know, but I control always that all images must have "Alt" tags.
If the site has earned an award, I begin the process of making and personalizing your award & authenticity
certificate on request. Once the award is designed and authenticity certificate
personalized, I then send an e-mail including my comments (Laudation), the attached award and instructions of what is to be
done.
When you apply for DAGAwards the evaluation of your site could take up to
4-6 weeks, or less, naturally depending upon the amount of applications
received.
Only winners will be notified and non-winners can always reapply
60 days after your last submission. Visit my winnerlist, see their sites and be sure your site meets the criteria before
applying.
The best of the best in the DAGA program is DAPA
"David Artrusso Platinum Award" and if you are a winner of the
Gold, Silver or Bronze award, you may resubmit your site for an upgrade in
90 days, if and when you have made significant upgrades to your web site.
If you have not heard from me after the 40 days time
frame, you can send me an
e-mail and ask me the status of your site
(Only if "Pending" in status page). But if you are "Completed" in status page, you can assume you did not win this time.
The DAGA's Awards can be received starting from a total score of
69

DABA (Bronze) and go up untill the maximum of 100 points
DAPA (Platimum), and as an addition, to every single award given of the
DAGA-program an authenticity certificate, on request will be
delivered, with name of the site, the award won (
DAPA, DAGA, DASA &
